Established by Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited, a leading Thai media company founded in 1989, the studio has become integral to the nation's broadcasting landscape.

Beyond its role in television production, Workpoint Studio has gained recognition in the boxing community for hosting numerous significant matches. Notably, on March 13, 2021, the venue featured a bout between former WBC super-flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and former WBA minimumweight champion Kwanthai Sithmorseng. Sor Rungvisai dominated the match, leading to Sithmorseng's corner retiring at the end of the third round.
