Nontshinga Stages Thrilling Comeback to Reclaim the IBF Light Flyweight Title

In a stunning display of resilience and determination, Sivenathi Nontshinga orchestrated a remarkable comeback to reclaim his IBF light flyweight title, defeating Adrien Curiel in a thrilling rematch in Oaxaca, Mexico. 

Just three months after suffering a devastating second-round stoppage at the hands of Curiel, Nontshinga turned the tables with a dramatic 10th-round victory, solidifying his status as a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world.

From the outset, the rematch promised to be gruelling, with both fighters engaging in a relentless exchange of blows. Curiel, known for his aggressive style, wasted no time pressing the attack, forcing Nontshinga to weather a barrage of punches in close quarters. Despite Nontshinga's efforts to pivot and create angles of attack in the early rounds, Curiel's relentless pressure proved challenging to overcome.
