Bryan Chevalier blast out Carlos Zambrano for third round knockout

Bryan Chevalier, the 26-year-old featherweight from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, beat 36-year-old Peruvian Carlos Zambrano in a one-sided affair on the undercard of the Super-welterweight clash between Serhii Bohachuk and Brandon Adams staged at the Municipal Boxing Gym Felix Pagan Pintor in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

This was Zambrano's first fight since April 2017 so even his 26-1 record was misleading. But, Chevalier did what he had to do and dropped the visitor three times, ending matters at 2:21 of the 3rd round.

Chevalier moves to 15-1-1.
