Miguel Cotto vs Daniel Geale

With a record of 39-4-0, Cotto from Caguas, Puerto Rico, faced off against the formidable Geale from Mt Annan, New South Wales, Australia, who held a record of 31-3-0.

Cotto weighed in at 153½ lbs, while Geale tipped the scales at 157 lbs. Harvey Dock was the referee.

Referee Harvey Dock closely monitored the action, and as Geale fell to the canvas from a counter right hand and struggled to regain his footing, it became clear that he would be unable to continue.

At 1:28 in the fourth round, Dock stepped in to stop the fight, declaring Miguel Cotto the winner by TKO. With this victory, Cotto successfully defended his WBC World Middleweight Title
