Reasoning
When you've got such a prodigious talent as Ben Whittaker, it’s easy just to think that he walks over everyone all the way up to a world title fight. For Whittaker, that hasn’t been the case; he had his contentious draw with Liam Cameron back in October 2024, and whilst he did what he had to do, knocking Cameron out in the rematch, it’s a reminder that he has to enter the ring each and every time 100% mentally and physically at his peak. Having said all that, his Argentinian opponent, Suarez, has four losses on his record, the most meaningful of which is the 10th-round KO loss to Lyndon Arthur in Bolton, England, back on September 23. He has two losses in Russia, and his first loss has no shame attached at all to the Venezuelan Olympian Albert Ramirez. If Whittaker turns up 100%, this should be a straightforward stoppage win for the Birmingham man
