Brighton Centre

The Brighton Centre, inaugurated on 19 September 1977, is a premier conference and exhibition venue on King's Road in Brighton, East Sussex, England. Designed by Russell Diplock & Associates, it showcases a Brutalist architectural style and is the largest facility in southern England. It offers a seating capacity of 4,270 for seated events and can accommodate up to 5,515 attendees for standing events, making it a versatile space for various functions.

Beyond conferences and exhibitions, the Brighton Centre has a rich history of hosting diverse events, including concerts, sporting competitions, and political gatherings. Notably, it served as the Brighton International tennis tournament venue from 1978 to 1995, attracting top-tier players such as Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, and Steffi Graf. The centre has also been chosen for major political party conferences in the UK, underscoring its significance as a national meeting point.

In recent years, the Brighton Centre has embraced its role as a boxing venue, contributing to the sport's resurgence in the region. On 10 November 2023, the centre hosted a notable boxing event, during which Harlem Eubank clinched the WBO Global Super Lightweight title against Timo Schwarzkopf. The event also featured Roman Fury, who secured a victory over Bradley Davies in a cruiserweight bout.

The centre's amenities cater to a wide range of events. It offers 5,000 square meters of exhibition space and 23 syndicate rooms, making it suitable for both large-scale conferences and intimate gatherings.
