Souleymane Cissokho edges Kieron Conway after suffering ninth round knockdown

Frenchman Souleymane Cissokho and Brit Kieron Conway had the chance to make names for themselves when Eddie Hearn decided to put their 10 round super-welterweight match on the Canelo vs Billy Joe Saunders undercard at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, but the fight held very few highlights and will quickly be forgotten by the crowd that saw it.

Conway scored the only knockdown of the fight in the 9th round, but it wasn't enough to sway the judges who awarded the fight to the 29-year-old Cissokho.
