Rau'shee Warren crushes Damien Vazquez in second round

Rau'shee Warren looked sensational as he blew away Damien Vazquez in the 2nd round at Dignity Health Sports Park in California on the Casimero vs Rigondeaux undercard.

Cincinnati, Ohio's Warren, dominated from the 1st bell landing flush power punches from his southpaw stance, shaking his 10-year-younger opponent each time and scoring a knockdown halfway through the round. In the 2nd round, he came under a weak Vazquez jab to land a huge left that dropped the 24-year-old Vazquez, referee Ray Corona, not even bothering to count and waving it off at the 2:18 mark.

Warren's three career losses have all been on disputable points decisions with world titles at stake. The first loss to Juan Carlos Payano in August 2015 was avenged ten months later when he bagged the WBA and IBO world super-bantamweight titles.

On this showing, Warren would provide a stiff test for any of the world titleholders.
