Murat Gassiev stops Michael Wallisch in fourth round

Murat Gassiev did what he needed to do when he stopped Germany's Michael Wallisch in the 4th round of their scheduled 10 round heavyweight headline bout at the Dynamo Volleyball Arena in Moscow.

Wallisch, standing at 6ft 5" looked like a step up in opposition but he has now lost five of his last eight outings, admittedly against good opposition (Joe Joyce, Tony Yoka, Efe Agjagba, Christian Hammer, and now Gassiev).

Gassiev is a slow starter which is something he might want to alter when he starts to mix with the elite of the division, but he is a welcome addition to the blue ribbon division.
