Melvin Jerusalem successfully defended his WBC minimumweight title against Yudai Shigeoka  at Aichi Sky Expo in Tokyo, Japan, securing a unanimous decision victory. In his favour, the judges' scorecards reflected Jerusalem's dominance, reading 119-109, 118-110, and 116-112.
