Manuel Rey Rojas outpoints Tyler McCreary in upset

Tyler McCreary was looking to get back to winning ways in his 8 round return super-featherweight bout against Manuel Rey Rojas on the Shakur Stevenson vs Jeremia Nakathila bill from the Theatre at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, however, he dropped a unanimous decision to 28-year-old Rojas who hails from Dallas, Texas, and in the process drops down the rankings further after his 10 round decision loss to Carl Frampton in November 2019.

McCreary didn't look like he really wanted to be there at times even though he is probably the more naturally gifted of the pair, and at the end of the 8 rounds, he was adjudged the loser on all three ringside officials cards.
