Magomed Kurbanov beats Liam Smith by unanimous decision in Russia

Magomed Kurbanov kept his unbeaten record intact and picked up the vacant WBO International Super-welterweight Title in the process when he defeated former WBO World Super-welterweight champion Liam 'Beefy' Smith in  Ekaterinburg, Russia.

The fans present were treated to a tough no-nonsense battle between two world-class super-welterweights with the result in the balance right to the final bell.
