Luis Alberto Hernandez Ramos outpointed by Alex Martin

Mexican prospect Luis Alberto Hernandez Ramos lost his unbeaten record by way of a 10 round unanimous decision to Alex Martin on the Vergil Ortiz vs Maurice Hooker undercard from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

The win takes Chicago’s Martin to 16-3-0 and comes after another against the odds win a year earlier when he won a majority 8 round decision over another unbeaten prospect, Angel Fierro.

Hernandez was effective in the first half of the fight but when Martin took a more aggressive stance in the later rounds the 24-year-old Hernandez fell behind on the scorecards.

Scores: 100-90, 100-90 and 99-91.
