Last Minute Cancellatin of Amanda Serrano vs Nina Meinke Leaves Fans Fuming

Amanda Serrano's highly anticipated featherweight championship defence against Nina Meinke in San Juan, Puerto Rico, was unexpectedly cancelled at the last minute due to Serrano's inability to gain medical clearance following an eye injury. 

Most Valuable Promotions, led by Jake Paul, disclosed that Serrano was deemed medically unfit because of the injury sustained just a day before the bout. 

The cancellation announcement came after Paul's victory over Ryan Bourland, leading to disappointment among the fans present. However, Paul appealed for understanding, highlighting Serrano's eagerness to fight despite her condition and emphasising the severity of her eye issue, which involved an exposed cornea and failed eye tests. 

The cause of Serrano's injury remains unspecified. An emotional Serrano, addressing the audience, expressed her profound regret for not being able to compete, emphasising her dedication to her fans and the event's significance.
