Jaron Ennis flattens Sergey Lipinets in sixth round knockout win

Philadelphia's welterweight contender Jaron Ennis delivered a spectacular ending when he knocked out former world champion Sergey Lipnets in the 6th round of their 12 round headline bout from the Mohegan Sun Casino.

The 23-year-old Ennis moves to 27-0 with 25 knockouts and has to be seen as a legitimate threat to the elite of the worlds 147lb division.

Against the experienced Lipnets, Ennis looked in total control and able to dictate the pace and distance the fight was fought at. It will be interesting to see who his team match him with now as only top-ten contenders will be seen a fair game to this rising star.
