Erislandy Lara blasts out Thomas Lamanna in first round to win WBA World Middleweight Title

Erislandy 'The American Dream' Lara showed what happens when you put a boxer with limited skills in with an elite level fighter as he blasted out Thomas Lamanna in the 1st round to win the vacant WBA World Middleweight Title at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California on the same card as Andy Ruiz Jr vs Chris Arreola.

Now a two-weight world champion, Lara must decide where his future rests, 154lbs or 160lbs. Perhaps PBC are looking to match Lara with WBC world middleweight champion Jermall Charlo. At 38-years-old Lara still looks capable of some big wins.
