Danny Ball outscores Sam Gilley for International Title

Kingswinford welterweight Danny Ball added his name to the British 147lb mix with a close but deserved unanimous decision win over Sam Gilley. This was Ball's first defence of the WBC International Silver Welterweight Title he won in a vacant title match against Mason Cartwright in his last outing in October 2019.

Walthamstow's Gilley will come back a better fighter for this experience, knowing that he can take the lessons learnt, improve, and move onwards. He came close to winning at times and never gave up at any stage.

A rematch somewhere down the line would be one to look forward to as these two are very well matched.
