Pat McCormack

Pat McCormack, born on June 8, 1995, in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England, is an English professional boxer who has quickly made a name for himself in the welterweight division since turning pro. Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and fighting out of an orthodox stance, McCormack fights with a style shaped by one of the most decorated amateur backgrounds in British boxing.

Before turning professional, McCormack had a highly successful amateur career that included medals at major international competitions. He won a silver medal at the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the welterweight division, earning runner-up honours after a final against Cuba’s Roniel Iglesias. McCormack also secured gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, representing England, and took home gold at the 2019 European Games.
