Born on June 11, 1984, in Bow, London, Andy Lee would go on to represent Ireland as one of the most respected middleweights of his era. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches with a 75.2-inch reach and a southpaw stance, Lee combined technical skill and knockout power to carve out a memorable career. Though born in England, he proudly carried the Irish flag throughout his professional journey, basing himself in Limerick, Ireland.

Andy Lee's professional career began on March 10, 2006, when he stepped into the ring at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. Trained by the legendary Emanuel Steward of the Kronk Gym, Lee made an emphatic debut, dispatching Anthony Cannon via a second-round technical knockout. This marked the start of a career that would see him rise through the ranks to compete at the highest levels of the sport.

Lee steadily built an impressive record, developing a reputation as a heavy-handed southpaw with a knack for dramatic knockouts. Along the way, he faced a host of world-class opponents. In June 2012, Lee challenged Julio César Chávez Jr. for the WBC World Middleweight Title in El Paso, Texas. Although the fight ended in a split draw, Lee showcased his resilience, recovering from two early knockdowns to retain his title. Later that year, he faced Billy Joe Saunders in Manchester, England. Despite a valiant effort, Lee lost his title via majority decision after being knocked down twice in the third round.

In his final years as a professional, Lee continued to display his class and skill. On March 18, 2017, he fought KeAndrae Leatherwood at Madison Square Garden in New York. Securing a unanimous decision victory marked the end of Lee's career, leaving him with a professional record of 35 wins (24 by knockout), three losses, and one draw.
