The Gym Rat's Prediction
Pick
Steven Butler
Reasoning
Alimkhanuly, and more recently Patrice Volny, can often teach a fighter far more than four easy wins. Also, each of those four losses was contested in the160-pound division. Now Butler has moved up to 168lbs and so far the results are positive: 3 wins, 3 KOs. Hiseni also has some good wins on his resume. At Montreal Casino back in June 2024, he drew with Shamil Khataev, an unbeaten Russian. Also in his last outing, and another trip over to Canada, he won a unanimous decision over the unbeaten Alexandre Gaumont. So, Canada has been a good hunting ground for the Swiss fighter. That said, this is without a doubt the biggest name that Hiseni has faced, and a win here would put him on the brink of world title contention. So there is a lot on the line. It feels as if Butler has been around a long, long time, and yet there is only one year difference in age between them. Hiseni 29 and Butler 30. There is a real belief that Butler is seeing a resurgence since moving up to the super middleweight division. Because of that and his superior experience, I am going to go with Butler to stop Hiseni.
