After their first fight in January, which ended as a unanimous technical decision win for Han, it would be hard to bet on Holm, who simply couldn’t pull the trigger when required. The fight was stopped after an accidental clash of heads in the 7th round, which caused a cut over the left eye of Han. The judges had Han 4, 3, and 5 rounds up at the time the fight was stopped.

Holm had made a comeback to boxing after a 12-year layoff in June 2025 with a shutout points win over the 10-0 Yolanda Vega, but she couldn’t deal with the speed and volume punching of the nine-year younger Han. The fact that the fight takes place in Han’s hometown of El Paso just adds more to the 35-year-old’s chances.

Holm will give it her all as always, but time waits for no one, and I think that is all that is happening here.
