Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs Radivoje Kalajdzic
February 1, 2026
The Gym Rat's Prediction
Pick
Oleksandr Gvozdyk
Method
Unanimous Decision
Reasoning
The three defeats on Radivoje Kalajdzic's record, Marcus Browne(SD), Artur Beterbiev(KO-5), and David Morrell(UD), may point to a man who only loses to the very very best. The question here is: Does Gvozdyk fit that bill? Is he one of the very best the Light Heavyweight division can come up with? His 11th-round knockout of long-reigning WBC champion Adonis Stevenson, whilst super impressive, was way back in December 2018, and losses to Beterbiev(TKO-5) and David Benavidez(UD), make this look more of an equally contested battle. I'm going to go with Gvozdyk, but it's a fight that could go either way at this stage. And always remember, at 38 years old, the Russian(Gvozdyk) could grow old at any time.
