Reasoning
American boxing fans are in for a treat as Opetaia makes his US debut on Zuffa Boxing’s 4th instalment. Opetaia is a treat to watch when he is in full flow. His footwork is a smoother version of Oleksander Usyk’s, high praise indeed, but whilst the undisputed best heavyweight on the planet can clearly outmanoeuvre the rest of the best(Tyson Fury), his footwork and lateral movement can be jerky compared to the Australians. Brandon Glanton will provide a stiff test for Opetaia, the Atlanta, Georgia native fully deserves his 'Bulletproof' moniker, having never been stopped or put down. His highest profile opponent was Chris Billam Smith, who was a former WBO world champion when they fought in London on the undercard of the first Benn-Eubank card. The heavy-handed Englishman never put a dent in 'Bulletproof', but the Australian champion is a different proposition who will find way more openings for his fast, powerful shots. When he is patient, Opetaia is like an assassin; when he’s not, he’s pure excitement. With a whole new audience to impress, I believe we will see an aggressive performance from the IBF and Ring champion and he will get Glanton out of there in the second half of the fight.
