Reasoning

Let me get this out of the way first. I’ve been a big Regis Prograis fan ever since he came to London and fought Josh Taylor at his peak. Whilst I’ve got no gripe with Taylor getting the decision, my scorecard ended with Prograis two points up against the Scotsman. At his peak, his technical skills were among the best in the game. Sadly, those days are gone, and whilst he is still a good fighter, he certainly is not the same fighter anywhere over 140lb. The extra 10lb will not help him in any way, shape, or form. Certainly not against Benn, the younger, rampaging welterweight who is coming down from middleweight. I'm not even sure at 150lb how long Prograis will be able to hold the younger, stronger, bigger man at bay. I would never call it a mismatch because Prograis is probably the best opponent that Benn's ever faced technically but the size difference is what leads me to go for Ben to win on a stoppage.
