By fight time, Barboza Jr will probably be a strong favourite. He has the better resume and has only lost to Teofimo Lopez. But Sims has beautiful skills, and what I fear for Barboza Jr is that he tries to box with the master boxer, in which case I think he surrenders his advantages. Neither of these guys is a big puncher, although they can both hurt. This is a real boxers’ chess match, and I’m gonna go with the Chicago man. I believe he may rise to the occasion, outwork, and ultimately outpoint Californian Barboza Jr.
